CAMERON THOMSON
Prior to joining the Sinclair Group, Cameron worked as a solicitor in the Corporate Finance Department of the leading London law firm of Freshfields Bruckhaus & Deringer. During his time at Freshfields Cameron gained valuable experience in corporate finance and banking law, corporate transactions and investment funds. He was also seconded to the corporate finance team of Goldman Sachs in London.
In an earlier role until 2015 Cameron was Assistant Company Secretary and acting in-house Counsel at the University of Westminster, a London-based higher education institution with an annual turnover in excess of GBP180 million. He was also company secretary to six of the University’s wholly owned subsidiary companies, including its investment, trading, property, and IP vehicles. He has extensive experience in corporate record-keeping and filing processes, drafting and amending memoranda and articles of association, and in the law and practice of directors’ meetings.
Cameron holds a BA (hons) and MA in History from the University of Cambridge and an LLB from the College of Law in London
Cameron was admitted as an attorney in the Cayman Islands in 2019.
